Guys, anyone knows if the problem with reddit's dogetipbot was fixed? People were talking about a decentralized control of the dogetipbot, which seems a great idea if it can be implemented.
Problem won't be fixed because people lost their money, if it gets fixed will take hell a lot of the time since there were millions of dogecoins involved right there. There wasn't any problem with a bot, it worked fine but bot owner used the funds and sold them.
Currently new bot is being developed that will send transactions through block-chain not an offchain transaction. I don't know many details but I don't know how are they going t make it decentralized, would be cool if they do tho. Currently because there is no bots they have made a simple address book, where users type their address and when somebody wants to tip he asks bot for users address, can check this post :
