Was mining for an hour well trying to. Have yet to get anything :/
Sitting at 50-70 KH's, my cooling is not great so don't really want to push my GPU to much, can't get another one if it dies
50-70 kH/s? That is just your processor doing work, not the GPU. You are doing something wrong with your cgminer settings. The HD7870 can do between 300 and 500 kH/s depending on the model and miner settings.
Add to that, there are also some differences between the various pools. If you want something more consistent in rewards over time, a normal (non-p2p) and STABLE pool with low rejection rate is what you want to choose. I put my HD7990 rig in "silent mode" (700 kH/s) for 8-10 hours during the night, pointed it at miners-pool.eu, and with a rejection rate of 2.2% it got me about 16k of doges.
If you are somewhat serious in creating scrypt coins of any kind at a decent rate, you want to aim at 750-1000 kH/s as minimum. Check out the various AMD numbers here to get a clue of what the various GPUs can achieve with the right settings, and make sure you know how much power they consume and how much you pay per kWh of electricity:
https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison I'm trying to use
https://www.multipool.us, but i have some trouble.
Is it normal that when i add a worker i don't have to choose a password for it? i have to use my multipool account password on cgminer?
I tried cgmier with this string cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool1.eu.multipool.us:3352 -u 1 -p password_multipool, but it say "worker name not found".
Any help?
Your worker isn't called just "1", it's likely called yourusername.1, and you don't always have to set a password for the worker - if it's a p2pool then you just write anything as password. The suffixed digit is just to discern multiple miners you have working for the same account, in case you run multiple rigs.
