doge has lots of potential and a huge fan base, i wouldnt worry about dogecoin being low at the moment. correct me if im wrong but wasnt litecoin around $0.16 each this time last year.

Why the fork?

All I have to do is unzip the QT client right? And replace all old files with new one?

vircurex is fixed now, no idea about coins-e

    download v1.4
    goto %appdata%\Roaming\DogeCoin
    backup your wallet.dat
    delete all files in this folder (e.g. move all files to a folder, wallet.dat being the most important)
    Start v1.4, wait for synchronizing to finish. This takes a while.
    Close v1.4
    In %appdata%\Roaming\DogeCoin replace the newly created wallet.dat with your old wallet.dat
    Start v1.4

Your balance should be visible. To be sure, check if the number of block in v1.4 is the same as on dogechain. Oh, and did I mention that you should back up your wallet.dat?

Wondering, what specialty did you see in dogecoin that you opened a dice website for none other coin after BTC based one but only DOGE?

That's easy.  Doge is very marketable and it's is going to the moon! 


But I would still like to hear Dooglus elaborate.
