I agree. All the eth-heads have been talking about how superior ETH is and how it's going to replace Bitcoin and all that. I grant that it's amazing technology, but it is still relatively untested. The ecosystem is brand new, a lot of the "DAOs" and "tokens" are bound to fail (which will rightly or wrongly reflect poorly on ETH), and it is too complex.
Most of all, though, is the fact that BTC has stood the test of time and in seven years, no security flaws have been found. Dash is forked from BTC, so that makes me feel much more comfortable.
*I realize this wasn't a security flaw in the Ethereum protocol itself, but the point still stands, there COULD be flaws that are presently unknown. It's brand new. It hasn't been thoroughly probed for years.
