Seriously, no matter what one does somebody won't like it (or will pretend not to, for agenda purposes).
Strong idea, and it would have a positive impact even if not universally supported.
Edit, afterthought: I mine another alt that does "good works" and I've noticed in its discussion threads that people show up to say "it doesn't do enough good work" or "I don't like the good works it's doing, it should be doing X instead", blah blah. With that kind of thing in mind, it might be wiser for us to seek a bunch of charity "good work" sites to accept DRK so donors can choose rather than having DRK endorse Charity X. This is harder to do than one might guess. One of the major "good works" campaigns announced recently that they had lost government funding and desperately needed money. When approached to see if they would accept crypto donations they said, in effect, "we'll think about it" and went into a bureaucratic coma - despite the fact that donors were lined up and they could have converted to fiat (or whatever) instantly through the exchanges.
