Hello! Is it safe to run minerd on my vps? What port will it use? How many DRK should I expect to mine?

I would say it is useless - you'll get peanuts but do not know how much exactly

I've thought about doing this now and again but I think I worked out that I'd earn less that 2DRK a year basically! Shocked

(assuming a hashrate of around 300/400KH/s on my vps).

If you costs you nothing and doesn't interfere with anything, why not. It's still a few extra Drk's in your pocket.

Yeah, good point. I suppose 2 DRKs a year seems like chicken feed at the moment... but I might see it differently in a few years time if each DRK is worth £1000 or something! Shocked
