it depends on fellow darkcoin users mixing their coins .. i would advice to keep yr wallet open for some time (pref a day or a night)
and then check the mixing progress.

note : you can always stop the mixing and restart it again from where it left off.

edit : ''the idle'' ''last darksend was too recent'' messages are normal .. just wait some time and you will see it will progress when it found pairing partners for the mixing.
Basicly its looking for two other clients to mix yr input with ...

********** almost forgot... its not a bad idea to upgrade yr wallet from v0.10.16.6 to v0.10.16.11 .. its not a mandatory update for the mixing but who knows.. it might help *************
