Withholding attack! Withholding attack!

So www server maintenance hit during a pretty long block, then failed because it took too long.  (Part of the maintenance involves a backup of all shares since the last block)

I reset the maintenance and it should be good to go soon.

We did find a block at some point during the maintenance and it will show up when it's done.  (Payouts already happened for it, since as always the pool itself is not affected by the www server)

I keep my tin hat nearby and while I'm not smart enough to prove it. it sure seems like blocks found have diminished
on a lot of pools lately.

I averaged the luck percentage from all blocks since about four months ago and graphed them. The luck slump looks pretty mellow from here actually..

There is no such thing as luck and variance in Mathematics it is a constant and from what i understand about Bitcoin, Mathematics is its core IMO

Well, never saw it this way. But hey, it works!

Obviously. Also, the insidious withholding attack was so well executed that it intercepted and nuked golden nonces from all the users of the pool for the 12 hours it was ongoing.

It makes me shiver when I imagine how it would work if I were singing it...
