Definitely the worst round in a while. I've triple checked everything on the pool side and all is well... just no block found yet
Still not as bad as the worst luck round on record. It'll take another 19 hours without a block (at current hash rate) to be worse. Let's hope we never break that record...
The record shows more than 30 blocks worse than the current one so far, and the very worst was in late 2012, which was a staggering 109 hours long !
So, so far, the current block is having a very bad luck, but not exceptional.
There's no point comparing block times, they are dependent upon difficulty and pool hash rate - they aren't directly comparable at all.
What you need to compare is the share difficulty % vs the network difficulty of blocks.
Current net difficulty is 46684376316.86029053 = ~201EH
If it got to 40hrs at 9.5PHs it would be: 1338EH
Ratio: ~681%
CDF of 681% is 0.998897... so you expect on average ~1.1 out of 1000 blocks to take longer than 1338EH (681%) at the current ~201EH difficulty
