I'm fine with either starting afresh, or to continue... but I must say that the intention of almost everyone who joined already was to pay a small fee to begin with, so starting afresh wouldn't be fair, but I might not be objective enough since I'm currently topping the chart, but if reverse where the case my opinion would've remained the same.

I think it's quite clear over the past seasons that there are less participant in the UCL Pool, but I think an earlier announcement and collection of fee (on or at least before the competition kickoffs) would be a bit advantageous.

That was quite a come back from Man Utd, I didn't really see that coming.. I saw that as an already lost match, funny how the only reason why I can't bet against in these sort of games is because of the presence of Ronaldo and that literally paid off.

My Main Bang of the night was the 2.0+ Odds for Juventus against Zenit and the high flying Bayern Munich at 1.5 against Benfica, what could have been more generous from the bookie ??!

Apologies for the tip, @CasperBGD . I know they say never bet against Ronaldo, but I was betting against United. Watched most of the game and I've to say Atalanta need to be more mature, because Rashford came close twice in the 1st half too. But ask me again and I'd bet on them again. United just seem to start so badly every match, and then rely on coming back in 2nd half -- which they failed to do against Leicester.


I'll wait to see more reactions from the weekend. I'm happy to always continue sponsoring. The irony is my business was doing much better in the old days, in the bear markets too, rather than in this year and the rally! I'd love to put up more money too, but it seems a bit silly to do with fewer participants. So let's do our best next season, I'm definitely putting up more money if we have more players, and I would like to sponsor with a new project.

Hey all. So I guess not enough people seem to be interested in paying the fee to continue this round.

I count 3 people only who also don't mind the "rest of season" idea to start a new pool (I actually already created it) to only start counting points beginning from Game Week 4 of Group Stage.

That's still 10 games to go, so it's not bad.

No fee, and a small prize from me at the end. It won't be as much exposure as I'd have hoped so it will just be a token gift from me to the winner (maybe 2 winners).

Some difficult games to predict today and tomorrow, I went with a lot of weaker teams not scoring. Somehow I feel I won't be having a great start here

That didn't take long to happen in the Salzburg game as Wolfsburg just took the lead again, going early into the 2nd half. I will agree with that choice for Man Utd's game as well, given their recent history defensively, but I'm more tempted by 2.42 Odds for Man Utd to win the match, I think Man Utd would get all 3 points tonight as well.

Holy cow guys I can't believe it. 3 exact scores and everything else close for me on last night games. Of course the only result for me that mattered was Ansu Fati our hero getting us 3 points, so precious now and we are 6 points, we need 1 more big win and at least we have everything in our destiny.

2-2 is my favorite exact score on Atalanta United and it feels weird to thank Ronaldo for this.

We can bash Ronaldo here and there and have fun on his account, he sort of invites it with his gestures and poses but nobody can take away his winning mentality and physical levels. It is not coincidence that he scores those super late goals, he capitalizes on opponents fatigue, both physical and mental and then scores when they drop their levels just a bit.

I had solid start to the pool but nowhere near what @slaman29 did. I sort of think Superbru should have adjusted slam points for CL predictor. They are made for 10 games format so they are super easy to get during CL group stage (16 games) and impossible to get in later elimination stages. It basically means that whoever is first at the end of group stage usually holds that position quite easy while we have lots of drama in other pools.
