1 of 2. The good thing is the Warriors' win gave me a @2.14 odds. I just won a little money. That win by the Indiana Pacers was truly unexpected. I bet those who took the high risk are big winners today.

Anyway, we have 2 games later. Here are my picks.

Boston Celtics - New York Knicks - Boston Celtics (-10.5) - Yeah, they will probably start strong. The Knicks will have a hard time considering how good the backcourt defense of the Celtics is. Jrue and Derrick White will punish Brunson. (Yes, Jrue is out on the injury reports.)

Oklahoma City Thunder - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets ML @4.10 - I am taking that high risk. I know the OKC Thunder is strong, but I really want the Nuggets to take Game 1.

The ML odds for Nuggets looks too juicy to pass up as they are an experienced side who cannot be sidelined.

But I expect Shai and co to make a statement especially as it'd be a battle between MVPs and I think this series would play a huge part on who would be crowned the MVP between Shai and Jokic.

 

They pulled off the win by holding their ground in the 4th quarter, even after the Cavaliers went on a big run to erase the lead.
Unfortunately, the second leg didn’t hit as Warriors vs. Rockets turned into a low-scoring affair, despite the Warriors shooting over 40% from three.

Anyway, hoping we still get a good game today even if the home team is heavily favored.
I’m skipping the spread for now, just want to see how Game 1 plays out. So for today, I’m rolling with the Thunder vs. Nuggets over 228.

Congrats if you put some money on the moneyline for both teams, must have been big if these were parlayed. The Nuggets were just hanging in there until they took the lead in the final seconds of the game courtesy by that 3-point shot by Gordon.

That was quite a hit, the Knicks were down by 20 points or thereabout If I recall correctly and OKC were also pulling somewhat clear very early into the 3rd quarter, If anyone had asked me, I clearly would said neither of them could win the game, but here we are.

All top 3 favorites lost game 1, that’s definitely an indication that a lot of drama will unfold in subsequent games of the series.

Those were some great games yesterday. Playoff basketball doesn’t get much better than that. As for today, I’m hoping we see a couple more close games but mostly I’m looking for the stars to shine. I want to see Ant Man, Steph Curry, and Jimmy Butler all have some big moments for their teams.

Also got the Warriors ML @3.0 for tonight. Though the Wolves have rested for a couple of days but i think they are beatable on their homecourt especially now that the Warriors are hyped after their big game 7 win versus the Rockets.

Head to head standing between these two teams is 3-1 in favor to the Warriors.

Congrats to both of you and the rest who managed to rik their bets for the Warriors, even chef Curry was out early in the first half but the remaining core players together with the rest of the team really play so well to cover him, another top scorer for Buddy he and Butler provides help to maintain that early leads and with Green feeling the hypes of that last do-or-doe win against the Rockets he still got that confidence taking shots and making decent numbers.

We've seen upset over upset over upset on their own home. Just today, we've seen the Warriors stealing one game on the road against the Timberwolves despite not having Curry for half of the game, and on the other hand, we've seen the Cavaliers losing YET AGAIN to the Pacers, and now they're down 0-2.

Because of this, I already put my bet on the Nuggets winning against the Thunder because I want to see something. In the history of NBA playoffs, it hasn't happened where 2 top-seeded teams are down 0-2 against their opponents at the same time, and it might sound harsh, but I want it to happen hence, I put my bet to the Nuggets.
