Afghanistan need to win both their matches, in order to advance to the final (need 4 points, if I am not wrong). And it is going to be very hard. If they are lucky, they will win one of the two remaining matches. But winning both is close to impossible, especially against two of the top ODI sides. Right now Pakistan and Sri Lanka are on the top with two points each and they need just one more win to qualify. For India and Afghanistan, it is hard. And Sri Lanka has a golden chance, if they are able to win just one more match.
No doubt one of the best event in recent days and we need events like these in Asia which will give very good popularity and better environment to all fans around the world right now situation is not easy for any team even Sri Lanka and Pakistan at top of the league table, but things can change any time in this event with today match is surely going to be very tight between these two teams with Sri Lanka is had no quality like India but after winning two tight matches their confidence level is very high, and they will try their best for having better finish in this tournament.
Afghanistan already done which was possible from them, and now they have no chance for going into last two because lost against Sri Lanka is give them big setback after good first round performance but here as Pakistan is unpredictable we can expect better chance for Sri Lanka to go into last two.
I actually think that Pakistan might find some difficulties against Afghanistan. I am not trying to say that Pakistan is not going to be able to win against Afghanistan. I am trying to say that Afghanistan will probably be able to give Pakistan a good fight. Is that going to be enough?
I don't think so. But I can always appreciate a good cricket match. I think that's what it is going to be between Pakistan and Afghanistan. But on paper, it does look like Pakistan is absolutely going to destroy Afghanistan.
