Bangladesh's top-order players should bat more responsibly.

    Teams like UAE, Afghanistan and Ireland are making themselves stronger day by day. These teams are quite strong, especially in the T20 format. I think they can win against the big teams after a while if they get enough opportunities.


    We really need small teams like Afghanistan, UAE etc to make some good progress in cricket. This will not only be good for cricket but we will be able to see more competitive matches in different series and tournaments.
    Right now, there are only 6 or 7 renowned teams. With new teams coming in and playing good cricket, the spectator would be able to see more thrilling matches. Also, the quality of cricket will improve further as new teams step in and show their talent.

    Bhuvi is a very inconsistent bowler. Sometimes, he bowls very well while he bowls like an amateur on some other occasions. His experience still helps though. Arsh definitely deserves more chances despite all the negative criticism.

    Bangladesh has good players.  But they can't play as well as before.  Bangladesh has both bowling and batting.  But they cannot bowl and bat as well as before.  Due to which the Bangladesh team is lagging behind in the game day by day. If Bangladesh continues to play a bad game then they will not be able to do anything well.

    I totally agree that ranking’s can be misleading in this format, and when you look at India one may feel that they’ll probably win the upcoming T20 World Cup, but the reality is that they’ll not win because of their poor bowling. Furthermore this tournament requires strong batting, and again team India’s middle order looks vulnerable and hence if one is planning to wager on them then I would advise not to, because I feel that they may lose too easily against their opponent’s.

And if you check the history, you can see that a majority of the lop-sided matches in the tournament were between two tier-1 test nations. The excuse of low quality is raised by lower ranking test nations, because they are afraid of getting beaten by associate sides. During the last world cup, Bangladesh was defeated by Scotland, and Namibia managed to defeat Ireland. If you want to maintain quality, then the tournament should comprise only of 4 teams - India, Australia, New Zealand and England.

    I cannot agree with you.  By seeing the ranking of a team, everyone will understand whether the team is good or not.  I think a team should be considered with rankings.  But yes, big strong teams lose games against weak teams sometimes. It is not possible to consider teams with all this.  I think a team's ranking is everything.

    I totally agree that ranking’s can be misleading in this format, and when you look at India one may feel that they’ll probably win the upcoming T20 World Cup, but the reality is that they’ll not win because of their poor bowling. Furthermore this tournament requires strong batting, and again team India’s middle order looks vulnerable and hence if one is planning to wager on them then I would advise not to, because I feel that they may lose too easily against their opponent’s.
    Yes, India's bowling is not very good.  India lost almost every match because of their bowling.  I agree with you.  If one bets on the India team, he risks losing his money.  I have lost many bets in Karon, India.  I am not betting on India's support anymore.  But India has good batting.  They play very well in every match.  But the Indian team is far behind in terms of bowling.
