Since IATF is only referring to big numbers of cases rather than the condition, like most of the cases are mild, then no more sports event yet. Even the mild of the mild cases will be considered a threat. I understand though but the country can't afford anymore those limited restrictions. We can move forward even without these overrated restrictions like going in Level 4. Put a heavily strict on those hard-headed people that will not follow the safety protocol rather than limit people's activity because of these restrictions in Level 3 and possible level 4.

They can cancel it and they have to bear with the losses, they paid a lot on the imports and the conference will only be canceled. I don't know what's their next move if eventually, they will make a decision of cancelling the season due to the omicron virus. As a fan, I will not expect so much because we are really in a serious problem as the cases is rising fast.

Right! Also even if the PBA has been granted an exception by the IATF to resume its games, there's still no point to resume the games scheduled at some places like MOA Arena or Araneta Coliseum if people still can't buy the tickets and to see it live on scene. How could the league make some profit or atleast get the funds they released when they can't even sell some tickets.
This is the very best choice they've got and we can't expect some games soon as the cases continues to spike daily. So, it's safe to assume that there will an extension to this heightened restriction.

But probably they'll earn more if they are consistent in the Finals and of course more if they win the Finals. So maybe some players prefer to stay in the PBA despite the huge offers outside because they might be assured of their security in the future rather than playing outside where a player could only get a short term contract and of course high pressure since they are one of the imports.

That's always the scenario, every season there are new players added in the PBA as they are drafting players, but those players who are playing with Japan's B-League, I guess it will take time before they can come back especially if they are playing well in that league as the salary gap is very huge, they'll prefer to stay for sure.

Aside from the salary that they are getting in the PBA, for sure they also have benefits that they are getting with the team.
I think another reason why some players are choosing to stay here is because of their family and their security like you said. There are some PBA players out there who chooses to stay with their family rather than leaving them at least they will earn money here and at the same time they are with their family and for me, nothing is better than living beside your family even though the salary is lower compare to other leagues outside PH.

I agree with this as well.
Not all PH players in Japan will play there for the rest of their career. Most or all of them will definitely return to PH to play basketball and at that time, they also got new experiences that they got from playing outside PH which might get adopted in PBA or any other leagues. In the end, PBA will benefit somehow from these players who played abroad.

Even if we are a better country compare to Japan, many of our local players still choose to play there and simply because the offer is too good to decline, beside PBA is full of politics most of the time, and we cannot blame those players who chooses to play abroad. PBA should not be more strict on this though, give their players a chance to play abroad, that could still be a huge exposure for them which can benefit to their local teams later on.

Players still have to respect their contract with PBA, and if their team didn’t allow them to play abroad, that’s fine at least you still have the chance to play. Our local teams can’t really afford to pay that much especially if you’re not the ace player so its not good to compare salaries since they all have different skills in basketball, lucky to those who can play abroad that means to me, other country sees their true potential. PBA is way better I believe, many still want to stay though.

It's not about players are not allowed but are these players even got an offer to play abroad?

Only those who are well-performing in the league are getting the offer and still, only a few got an offer. Even some PBA players want to play abroad, if the scout of other leagues is not interested, then it will remain as a dream.

Not aware of a not that popular in PBA that got an offer to play abroad.
