I did not open my account anymore after making the replacement on Kittle with Kyle Pitts. I have already assumed that I will lose against your team hehehehe.

In any case, it was good that the final week gave you some excitement. I was already very happy and felt very lucky to reach the final with the team I had. Congratulations @nutildah!

Thanks fellas! Was a lot of fun this season. Guess it usually makes it more fun when you're winning. Congrats to bbc.reporter for taking the silver. You were a worthy opponent.

It might be too early to start talking about this but for next year I propose we do the following:

 - 1 league on yahoo! (hopefully 12-man)
 - 1 league on Sleeper (" ")

That way the people that want to play in one or the other can, and the people who want to play in both can. We should also ask people from the other football threads if they want to play. If we're so inclined. What do you guys think?

Congrats to Nutildah for taking the league!  Great job, man, that was an amazing season you had.

Congrats to Bbc.reporter for second, and Wheelz1200 for taking third.

We may not have discussed this year, but if I remember correctly we had 3 winners last year.  Third place got their money back, second place got twice the buy-in, and first place got the rest.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway, the three of you; please send me an address where you want the loot.

P.S.  If anyone runs into ChiBitCTy let him know he owes me .5mBTC.  I covered his buy-in because I didn't want to make you guys wait for the payout.

@Hueristic. Was the QB designation not already enforced on Yahoo Fantasy?

Sure, except what about instances where a non-QB flex player receives a direct snap? It appears they get QB points for that play as things currently stand. At least Taysom is a one-off thing, and he's turning 36 next year.

I disagree. I looked into it and there's no dual-position players that come close to Taysom Hill in terms of fantasy point production. He's definitely a statistical outlier no matter how you dice it. I don't think changing the rules for one player is a good idea. In his best game he got 15 points this season, so its not really a huge concern.

🏈 Full List of Fantasy Football Players With Multi‑Position Eligibility

(Offense only — defense has many dual‑eligible players, but you asked about offensive ones.)
⭐ Quarterbacks With Extra Eligibility

These are the rarest and most famous cases.

    Joe Webb — QB WR

Played WR and special teams while also being an emergency QB.

One of the most notorious “cheat code” players in fantasy history.

Taysom Hill — QB TE RB WR

The most versatile fantasy player ever.

Platforms changed his eligibility multiple times depending on usage.

    Logan Thomas — QB TE

Former QB who transitioned to TE; some platforms kept both tags early on.

Denard Robinson — QB RB WR

Listed as “OFFENSIVE WEAPON” in Jacksonville.

Platforms gave him multiple offensive tags.

Marcus Mariota — QB RB (briefly on some platforms)

Gadget packages and designed runs triggered temporary dual eligibility.

⭐ Wide Receivers With RB Eligibility

These players were used heavily in the backfield.

    Cordarrelle Patterson — WR RB

Atlanta used him as a true hybrid.

    Ty Montgomery — WR RB

Green Bay converted him to RB mid‑season.

    Deebo Samuel — WR RB

Some platforms added RB eligibility during his “wide‑back” role.

Kenny Stills? — WR (temporary gadget tags)

Not officially dual‑eligible league‑wide, but some leagues/platforms briefly added extra tags due to gadget usage in Houston.

⭐ Wide Receivers Who Became Tight Ends

These players changed positions mid‑career.

    Juwan Johnson — WR TE

Converted WR who kept dual eligibility early on.

    Logan Thomas — QB TE

Listed above, but also fits here.

Just looking at the players in your list that ever had a QB designation: 2 of them started in one position and switched to another. Mariota did rush as a RB a number of times early in his career, but he always had the QB designation.

As an easy metric we can total up is the # of passing TDs by each player while having a non-QB designation:

T. Hill: 12 (2020-2025)
J. Webb: 3 (2011)
L. Thomas: 0 (2017-2023)
D. Robinson: 0 (2013-2014)

So the list is quite small. Its a rather extraordinary athletic feat to play QB in addition to your normal position, that's why it doesn't happen very often.
