Hence the creation of Bitcoin100--hedging a bet for charitable organizations into becoming more receptive to implementing a Bitcoin donation option on their respective websites. There should be no reason for them, or others, to look upon this gesture as a bribe. No one suffers if they decline yet, fundamentally, all parties gain if accepted.


I believe that this issue is solved, or will soon be, once the vanity address is hashed.


There'll come a time and place for either or both approaches--on-line chat and in-person meeting, sometimes both working in concert with each other. In essence, this whole Bitcoin100 endeavor rest inside my head, with each post revealing more of what it consist of. I, for one, can't wait til seeing this through fruition, unlike my Bitcoin Lemonade Stand of which I abandoned due to waiting for the vanity shingle that was to be the pièce de résistance hanging over the counter which was to be provided by a member who's no longer allowed on this BBS.

Think you are being a bit too picky there 

Your initial pledge is 5 meaning 1 per charitable organization, currently maxed at 5 charities. This way, nobody puts in more than 1 BTC or $3.14159265 USD max into any one pool unless they're honoring a pledge of which they've previously expressed they desired to do so. That said, take 2 BTC out, leaving only 1 BTC in.

Great work, BTW. That's an AWESOME address, but can you make the first J lower case and second j upper case? It's a religious thing. Only kidding.

Now I have another request. This one should be a tad simpler. Generate another address starting with 1BTC314(any letter next) and grab the first one it generates. This is for a special pool of which I'll explain once you get it and have shared it with Roger Ver. Whistle when you have it done, for I'm the acting TSA agent at the Ark, making sure only 2 alpacas board.

EDIT: After posting this post, then adding to the wallet, I took a gander at the current exchange rate. It amazed me to see that since the creation of Bitcoin100, the price has started to climb, all due to the excitement centered around this endeavor. And some say that the butterfly effect is not real.

Seriously, this will afford us the leverage needed, for once a representative of a charitable organization realizes that no less than $314.16 is about to be donated to their just cause, and all they have to do is add Bitcoin as a donation option on their website, it becomes somewhat harder for them to refuse, albeit that is always clearly their prerogative.
