Sometimes I wonder if you are confused or trying to confuse others. The POTUS and government of the US manage the budget of the US. Not just for this matter but for all matters. YOU do not get to say what people want - they are the ones representing the people and have the right to manage the country in their name.

Many could argue that they would rather not have roads, or an army or a federal government or even not funding the police but until they are a voting majority they do not manage the country. You do not like spending money to help Ukraine? Get it voted. Anyway you will pay a larger bill later on if the RF gets a hold on the very few allies that the US has left in the world.


"Sacred text" (I assume you are talking about the Christian mythologic stories) are "sacred" just because a bunch of people believe so. They are not "now in doubt" they have been in doubt since they were written (BTW many years after any possible original even had happened, which means that they cannot be accurate, not to mention the 1000 translations from anything "original" and the "cleaning" by the church). Anyone trying to make any literal interpretation of these mythological stories does not even understand where they come from and, furthermore, arrogates him or herself with the ability to understand texts that are cryptic in nature.

For example, these "texts" state that the sun moves around the earth, which basically force Galileo to "admit he was wrong" to save his life, while it is now clear that the "texts" and the interpretation were wrong. How many wrong things are going to happen because people like you believe in imaginary friends and think that facts and non-facts are just a "point of view"?

Like in Ukraine, who is invading who, who is the absolutist despot, who could stop the war and how - there are very hard facts being muddied to smoke-curtain a blatant aggression.


You are trying to make standing with Ukraine equal to standing with the Russian Federation. Nice try, but they are not. One is the aggressor, the other is defending and this is not a symmetrical situation. Putin is shelling cities in Ukraine, Ukraine is not shelling cities in the RF. Putin is destroying the energy infrastructure in Ukraine, Ukraine is not doing so in the RF.

What you try to make look like a "balanced position" is not such and you "do not stand with the people" if you do not stand with Ukraine.

Imagine how much your country and "most powerful" army needs to suck when your 5 day war takes a over a year and took lives of nearly 200k of your soldiers.
At the same time whole world hates you and lots of them are not planning to go "back to normal" even when Putin dies and war is over.

And only people defending your victories are dictators and deranged and mentally challenged forum trolls.

It's sort of sad and funny how some western trolls in are totally unaware of their privileges of free speech and they are using that freedom to praise dictators who take that freedom away from their own citizens.

One of them around here is all about not helping Ukraine, because he does not want to "spend money" on it. That's all. All the "pro-Putin", "alternative sources", and all the singing of defeats is finally reduced to a tight fisted cheap person that does not understand that to keep the world safe is not free - and is not even his or her life at the stake, is just money. I wonder what would be if he or she was actually called to combat.

Dont know about you but been drinking with a Ukrainian (from Mariupol) the other day. Was all nice and pleasurable until he started playing the heavy machinery. I have to say it was a bit to much.

Again, you are not. You are trying to make it look like that is a "balanced" position which is not. Ukraine did not amass troops in the RF border, did not send a column of tanks to Moscow, did not try to take land away from the Russian Federation. I spent half an hour conversing with a highly intelligent Russian expatriate today who recently moved away from Russia because he hates the war and its dissolved opportunities for his particular employment, and it was very enlightening. A few things he said:

- The majority of Russians don't support the war.
- Putin will remain in power until he's dead.
- Western Ukraine is filled with Nazis who hate people that aren't Ukrainian, don't speak the Ukrainian language.
- The war won't end until Russia has destroyed NATO bases in Ukraine.
- The war will end in about two years.
- Almost nobody in Russia really knows whats going on with the war or why it was started.

I think its intriguing that in 208 pages nobody brought up NATO bases in Ukraine.

Its also more apparent than ever that pro-war idiots in the US don't have the slightest clue what they're talking about. If he doesn't know, you don't know. There's no knowledge or understanding that you have that he doesn't have.

For the Russians in this thread that feel a patriotic duty to support Russia, I still sympathize with that plight as many Americans were lead to believing the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan in 2001 was good, even though it was ultimately wrong... its a base human nature that is almost instinctual. However, you are still rooting for the death and destruction of innocents at the end of the day.

The US and Nato countries have donated well over $100 billion. What is your puny $buck going to do?

Besides, people don't donate except that somebody prayed.

When the war began, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky begged our politicians for help, and our politicians did not disappoint him.  So far we have poured nearly 200 billion dollars into the war, but Zelensky just keeps asking for more.  He wants fighter jets, he wants long-range missile systems, and apparently he also thinks that eventually "the U.S. will have to send their sons and daughters" to fight the Russians.

In that clip he seems to be addressing a hypothetical scenario that someone has raised.
