This kinda reminds me of people over social media who complained that they are losing from investing in bitcoina despite bitcoin doing 6x easily when it hits ATH. guess what, they just keep buying high and selling low due to them unused to the fear of slight dump and that they thought investing in bitcoin will only take 1-2 months at most and they'd become rich after that. They were really wrong.

This is a good example why short term investing for impatient people won't work, they will always at loss because investing in bitcoin requires patience.

Most of holders so far already in profit, the people who hold bitcoin from prior 2020 are already becoming millionaires.

I encourage those people that OP mentioned to stay away from Bitcoin to do the opposite thing and that's to invest on it. This is an open and free market and we shouldn't push anyone away because it's an open opportunity for everyone who's able to take risk and want to take it for themselves. We cannot judge the others just for being like you've mentioned but of course, it comes with risk that we can tolerate but if they cannot then I'd agree that they should stop and try some other time until they're able to understand if this is the kind of asset for them that can change their lifetime or not.

Of course, we must accept the potential losses before we invest in Bitcoin. We must also understand the nature of crypto market and knows the volatility of the price. This is fundamental things, all investors should realize them. It is strange if there are people who invest in Bitcoin but they don't accept the potential losses and they aren't familiar with crypto market.

For the optimum profits, investing in Bitcoin should be long term. At least, we hold Bitcoin for 3-4 years. However, I don't see a problem if there are people who want to invest in Bitcoin for a short term. They can hold for few weeks or few months, depending on how their targets on taking profits. Bullrun season is good time to apply "short term" plan besides we keep focusing on our long term holding.

Yep. Besides having good mentality as an investor, knowledge is also the key factor in investment. It is a bit similar with trading that knowledge has the biggest role to determine the success. So we must ensure that we have proper knowledge first before we begin our investment in Bitcoin or altcoins. If we still have lack of knowledge, the solution is to focus on learning firstly.

The same mindset of thinking that this is the shortcut will always end up with bad results and when we push the concept too hard, we have to be prepared with all possibilities including our expectations that will never come true.
