If you can entrust other physical assets to your family, the value of which may exceed the value of your bitcoin investment - then why are you so worried about your bitcoin? I have no reason to distrust family - but I would seek full custody of it myself for the sake of asset security. Distrusting family members essentially just shortens the relationship between the two - but this may depend on the culture of each country.
Too much worry is one of the reasons here, even though when we have decided to have a commitment like with a partner and family, trust should be a big foundation that we must uphold so that in the end it does not cause problems in the future.
I personally have the same view on this because even though in this case the risk is certainly still there, in the end if I do choose between a lawyer and family, then clearly I will choose family as the first option rather than a lawyer who is in fact a third party in this case.
It does not mean that in this case I do not want to use the services of a lawyer, but in the end this is an option that is taken and I will clearly try to trust my own family more or now maybe my life partner because as I said, trust is the basic foundation for a family because if it does not exist, then why are you trying to have a family or someone close if in the end there is no trust between each other.
