There is a reason why it is called emergency funds for a reason, meaning that it is supposed to be kept separately from Bitcoin Investment because Bitcoin cannot always be used when you need it, this isn't something that you can have as a fixed emergency funds because it's not going to be available immediately you need it and selling your coins early can disrupt the investment you are making. If you intend to use Bitcoin as an emergency fund volatility would be the one thing you have to worry about because at the time you might think if selling your coins the market value of Bitcoin can reduce drastically which would lead to a loss when you are selling your coins. Bitcoin investment should be for a long term and your emergency funds should be exclusive, In that way you would not end up selling your coins before it reaches the target you've already set.
