I can't agree more with you, because scarcity has been dragged into these discussions before, but I believe it is not really something we should depend on or worry about. Because at an individual level, a person's holdings won't make any measurable impact on the total supply dynamics.

It's a macro effect from millions of people, therefore I don't believe it's a reason for any single holder to feel like they must hold some.

They hold because if they lose all of it in trading, then their holdings can save them, and this line is really the most realistic thing to say. So I can't agree more on this.

The problem is not far from money and determination. When someone starts investing and they are working, earning a good amount enough to sustain themselves and their family and still be left with the ones to put into savings, such financial conditions, they can hold their investment for a long time.

That same person, if they lose their job and there is no other place for which money is coming from, tries hard to set up something, and there is no positive change, they will be left with no other options than to sell off their holdings and settle pressing expenses.

I’m here for soo many reasons that are not even listed here. I have, thought, looked for strategies, and have decided to settle for bitcoin after having the knowledge about its pros and cons.
My numerous reasons aside, let’s talk about investment. The idea of holding for short term is not investment, even if we should put bitcoin aside, what investment do you even think will give you quick and legit money?

Giving this crypto space a chance and expecting that by the next morning, there will be a rise and you’ll just sell off then there’s no difference between you and a gambler.
So personally, it’s long term or nothing.


The only reason is lack of knowledge, information, awareness and patience. Whatsoever you want to think of again will still be in alignment with what i just listed.
Because if you’re really informed you should know it’s a longterm deal, and if an individual is fully informed, the only factor can be impatience.

So the idea of trying your luck doesn’t work with bitcoin.

But that's not all that helps; the current economic situation is also crucial. It's known that the traditional economy has many flaws that cause it to collapse. This isn't the case with Bitcoin. Bitcoin isn't about saving; it's a combination that, if done properly, can be seen as: Savings + Investment. Many think it's just saving, but it's superior because saving is leaving money idle, while with Bitcoin, it moves.

That's why it needs to be fed; there are many methods of accumulation, the most well-known and favored by many being DCA, but in essence, all investment should be long-term, and if you want to obtain profits, you must do so, but in the long term; it's the best option. So it's not just luck; here it's about knowing what you want to achieve. Some invested in BTC by luck, and today they are millionaires; now that's luck.

You are right. There are many who know about bitcoin and are motivated by hearing profit stories. However I think that when introducing bitcoin to someone do not use any savings or banking related language. Because bitcoin is different from all types of banking systems, including fiat currency. Bitcoin is a digital safe asset for long term accumulation. So we should believe in it and clearly express that it is not like a fiat savings account.

And people use savings in fiat currency. There is no price volatility. If you keep it long term some percentage may increase for interest but if you hold fiat currency thinking about inflation its value decreases. But bitcoin is different from all these. So you have to keep the mindset of long term holding. And you have to easily accept the natural volatility of bitcoin and continue accumulation. Only then does the possibility of making long term profit increase.

Planning for investment is very important, because if it is just a random investment then the future will be messy, we must arrange as best as possible our financial management, such as monthly income is still there, how much is set aside for investment and long-term goals how long it takes.

Example bitcoin long-term investment is better, people hunt short-term to make money then it memecoin, 10:100 comparison of its profits, the rest of it they experience losses.

Still, the skill of reading charts and techniques is far more valuable than luck.
