Ok, so Catapult is a new core architecture that will power the public (NEM) and private (Mijin) blockchains.
But I'm still having trouble understanding what that means at a deep level.
Basically what I want to know if Nem as in XEM, is still going to be the coins used. There's not going to be a new coin, like with NXT and ARDR.
I feel that it's probably a noob question and everyone here is face palming.
Basically C++ is a much better codebase to work with over java.
Essentially the core has been rebuilt in C++ and will replace the existing Java core.
This will make it more efficient and resource friendly than ever before.
