well, other SHA-256 coins arent that stable...
its too risky to mine other coins, while you can profit more than when you mine btc or you can loss more than 50% of your estimated profit
I think the question here is, if it makes sense to mine an altcoin with a S3 once it's not profitable to mine BTC any more.

of altcoins of the sha256 type that MAY make sense for me getting an antmimer maybe? (chicken?) or keeping my knc unit popping along after say
next month (as a comparison so to speak on slush my current 567.4gh Jupiter is getting 0.013 btc per day at 93% luck more or less just so
you guys can make a rough comparison kinda/sorta)

Whats the "best" altcoin for right now ??
For long term its Darkcoin, but it's not profitable always.Lifespan of altcoins very short. One need to mine new potentially promising coins and sell quickly as staying longer is big risk.Due to recent scams altcoins are suffering badly.
