I guess you have already decided how you will do the IPO but I hope you do it Qora style, a simple unlimited BTC donation rather that messing around with small donations adding up to 1000 people etc and having sockpuppets everywhere. Straight BTC to percentage of IPO, it's the only fair way, ie return only what you are willing to risk.

I'm the developer of Vennd and wanted to provide my biased information about initial sale.

One defining difference between Vennd and the other options listed here is that: Vennd doesn't need and shouldn't have any access to the BTC raised for GEMS. Vennd would only be responsible for the distribution of GEMS. The way that it would work is simple: you send BTC to an address, Vennd sends back GEMS to you. Vennd does not have the private keys to the address that is receiving the BTC.

What's approximate date of the GEMS IPO start and how long will it last? Knowing this could help plan the budget and have funds ready for the start of the IPO.

We are getting a lot of interest from crypto websites.
Our marketing team is working hard to make sure there will be a match between the Public sell and the media outlets. (some things are not in our control)

You can list your asset on Masterxchange for a small fee (I think .2 btc?). That could give you another reasonable centralized exchange option should you need one to bridge a gap or whatever.
