Are you sure? I mean (Lord welling) i did happen to find a solution, wouldn't i have to wait to and submit all 4000 shares before it could be verified?

All shares are is a way for you to communicate with the server that you are doing work, and the result of that work is greater than a specific difficulty level.
In a collective pool, your shares submitted are also used to help tally how much work you did in order to sub-divide the block reward among everyone (you did "your fair share").
Since there is no division
in a solo pool, the only share that will ever matter is on that contains a solution with a difficulty that is equal to, or higher, than the network difficulty (you only get paid for
that share).
