Finally one easy week to get us back on the track of those 100 correct. I got 5/7 this week and missed only Arsenal (which was quite possible with Havertz) and Fulham game (which was impossible). I am expecting quite a lot 5 and 6 correct wins this week. Jackpot probably not but this was the by far the best week so far.

I think yes, it counts as the 1st goal because an own goal is a goal no matter which team the own goal scorer is. That's the reason why they still put goal keepers in the choices. I think only penalty shootouts don't count as the 1st goal since we have no goal in the choices, and there will be no penalty shootout in the EPL. lol Let's just wait for FortuneJack to confirm it for clarification. Pick for the next round earlier is good than forget or miss to submit our pick, there is also a feature to edit it later so if we pick it earlier then we can still edit it when the first game is going to start or if we notice that the players we pick are not going to play.
So you have just done the best possible thing because you notice that you are liable to forget, other users may also forget to submit due to some other reasons such as real life activities in the weekend so having earlier pick is the best choice.
Although there is a chance that the players we pick are not on the lineups or even not going to play, but at least we still have a chance than if we do not submit anything.
