Awesome start by South Africa, the bowlers were back with a bang. This test series showed how hard they need to plan and things to take care in away ground. I believe they will be white washed in the test series. The young bowler did well, Kagiso showed some good bowling. They put him for batting as well on 1st down, lets see tomorrow what he does.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was looking good and he was successful to grab one wicket. India also have good bowling attack with the likes of Bumrah, Shami, Ishant Sharma, Kumar and Pandya. If they managed to get quick 2-3 wickets in the first 10 overs then south africa will be in big trouble. The pitch is really difficult if we talk about the batsman and it is helping the fast bowlers. India has to win this match at any cost as they would like to end this test series on on winning note but the things are not easy at the moment.

India has never lost a test match in Johannesburg so lets see if they can pull this off. Great job by the bowlers especially Bhuvaneshwar  who is bowling very well and since this is a bowling pitch its very hard to bat on . I still think SA will post 200+ and who wins the match will be decided tomorrow .

The match is going very close SA all out for just 194 runs, Superb bowling from Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets and B Kumar took 3 wickets, Now India started 2nd innings made 17 runs without losing any wickets. Parthiv Patel started innings with Murali Vijay and batting well. It looks like India will win this match.

I wouldn't say that it is advantage India yet. India might have fought back well with the ball and restricted South Africa's lead in the first innings, but we must remember that their problems in this tour have been with their batting. They still need to set a fighting total for South Africa to chase.

So far second innings batting performance is much better than first innings. I do agree that Indian batsman is not so comfortable in playing on these fast tracks but now they got an equal chance to win this match. Just need a couple of very good partnerships to build a good total in this innings. if they can add slowly another 200+ runs in this innings then they can try to win this match. Today's first session is very important to India, if they don't lose more wickets then they can add more runs to the total. 

In England batting, side four people didn't even score a single run. It looks like the pitch is supporting fully to bowlers and if that is true then Australia also will be in a difficult position if England bowlers bowl well. But Austalia already knows their target and which is easily achievable if they even score four runs per over. England needs the best start means they should pick up few quick wickets in first few overs without giving many runs then they can put pressure on Australian batsman.

India looks in strong position to win this match unless it's abandoned, the Indian captain has decided against it and now I feel team India will look to steal maximum runs. However this is the most dangerous pitch to be battling on, if India crosses 250 its team India winning it right away, otherwise the clamour for Kohli to be sacked will grow but he's done nothing wrong actually.

Match has been stopped due to the rain, target for the south africa is 241 to win this match and they have already lost 1 wicket. So SA need 224 more runs from two days with 9 wickets in hand, it seems hard as the pitch is getting very difficult for the batsman. The pitch will support the fast bowlers and it will provide unexpected angle and bounce for them, such deliveries will be unplayable for the batsman. I don't think that match will be called off due to poor pitch as its too late now, india is in good position and it will be unfair to them if the game did not complete. It will be a real test for the south african batsman as they have to chase the huge score on the difficult pitch and against the deadly bowlers. Lets see what happens on day 4.
