India managed to score 172/7 in their allotted 20 overs. It wasn't a big total and will be considered sub-par by today's T20 standards. India have come to depend on Kohli, just like they used to depend on Tendulkar some time around. But this time, the bowlers managed to win the match for them, in spite of a late charge by Christiaan Jonker. Bhubaneswar Kumar kept his cool and India won the match by 7 runs. With this, they go home with both the ODI and T20 trophies from South Africa.

It was a good match to watch. Even though Indian fire batsman Kohli was not there still they put up a good fighting total and defended that total to win the match and series. India actually struggles to score after Raina wicket but only last three overs they manage to add some extra runs to bring the total to 172. But we should appreciate the bowlers for defending this total in this match.

I still think England will be able to win this one . The odds are pretty good for them and hence I am going for them I was expecting them to score 300+ though . Roy should have gone on to score big , he takes too much risk but he is an exceptional player.

The fact that England managed to make 285 is only due to the knocks of Root and Butler. Butler scored at better than a run a ball and hit 5 sixers, showing how explosive he can be. New Zealand didn't have the best of starts, being reduced to 27/3 by England. They are now in a consolidation phase and Taylor and Latham have done well, taking New Zealand to 121/3

Very tight match but New Zealand managed to win this match. after losing quick wickets they really came back strongly and reached the target credit goes to Mitchell Santner he played superbly at the end. England failed to add 20 to 30 extra runs to the total if they added means today it was England match. bad luck and a good start for New Zealand congrats.

New Zealand played a great match all round, with the ball and with the bat. They bowled well to keep England under 300 runs as it did look like England would score at least 300 runs but New Zealand were able to keep the pressure on and restrict them to 285. They also recovered well when batting thanks to the middle order and to Ross Taylor & Tom Latham putting on that magnificent partnership which really set up the win for New Zealand and then for Santner to finish it off. Great win for the Kiwis!

India has played really well and the way in which they won the limited over tournament was astonishing,is India playing really well and can beat anyone in the world or South Africa was playing badly in the shorter format,i would like to see India play England and Australia at this time rather than Sri lanka and Bangladesh, with the performance they had they can easily defeat both those teams.

Yes West Indies will be favorites to win the series however I'm actually thinking Afghanistan can put up a strong fight and maybe even cause an upset and win the series. Afghanistan have been in fine form in recent months beating Zimbabwe so I think they can challenge the West Indies and make it an interesting contest.

There will be only 1 team, the winner of this tournament, who will play in the World Cup. The ODI world cup now follows a restrictive format, with only 8 teams participating. The T20 World Cup is where the associate nations can really make an impact.
Afghanistan managed to defeat West Indies in the warm up match today. Afghanistan scored only 163, but it was sufficient to win the match.

Today the second one-day match between NZ and England has started already. England won the toss and elected to field first and this decision has given them a good result so far because NZ already lost eight wickets just for 149 runs in 38 overs. Today England fielders did a great job because they made three run-outs until now. The last match also England suppose to win but last few overs match completely changed but I think today they will not do any mistakes to lose this match.
