I also think that they will almost completely rebuild the team because the current roster is clearly a failed experiment of the Lakers' management. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if they decide to trade Davis. There is no doubt that he is a great player, but he is too prone to injury. As a result, AD is not helpful enough to the team because he misses a lot of games for the second season in a row.
Just like how the Lakers failed when they put in veterans with Kobe Bryant back then. Nash, Malone, Payton, etc...
The other problem is they don't really have a franchise player now because I know it's not Lebron. Someone like Magic or Kobe back then.
A young player that will be nourished and kept even in ups and downs. Now, they just keep on kicking anyone who will fail and add new guys praying a miracle would happen that would create chemistry in a short amount of time.
This isn't even playoffs yet.
