It's Jokic consistency that really put him in the MVP race, if my memory serves me right, Joel was the front runner midway, but when he suffers a injury, Jokic takes over. So if those guards are just going to be consistent and injury free, I think they will have a good chance to win the MVP this year. If will be another close one, Kawhi and even Paul George could be in the discussion as well, or even Jokic's team mate Jamal Murray could also be inserted if he just continue what he left off prior to his injuries.
Oh, forgot about that partner of Jokic, Jamal Murray. Yes, he might be in the discussions as well, he might be itching to play with the MVP and who knows if he can snatch it from his teammate.

Jokic is always not the favorite to win the MVP, but in the end he still win the award, he already won back to back MVP award, so I would not be surprised if he still wins the same award this season. Well, I hope that stars will be healthy especially Leonard as that would make his team interesting to watch.
Yes, it's true. The prediction on who will be the winner gets more interesting if all will be playing in a healthy body. Clippers had Powell back to playing again and there's John Wall. One of the formidable teams now (if at full health) is the Clippers with a second team also capable of winning a game.
Does this trade would likely to happen or nah? The Nets and the Lakers are like pursuing or not the trade back and forth.
It's a nah, imo.
The reasons will be with how the Nets are looking for more even at a good offer. So no, it won't happen. What the management said about the "win now" trade is true according to their own actions.
