While the Pistons have improved, the Rockets seem to be struggling. Theyre 0-2 to start the season, and it looks like the team has become too Durant-reliant.
Not sure if thats gonna work long-term, but this early, its not a good sign.
Thats not what I was expecting from the Rockets this season. Will the Rockets end up like Phoenix back then? Instead of improving their record, they fell after getting Durant. The Rockets were the number two seed last season. Hes also a better scorer than Jalen Green. Next, theyre up against Brooklyn, maybe this time they can win, because if not, the Rockets management gamble isnt looking good. Aside from Sengun, they really need a third reliable scorer.
Its way too early to be thinking that they don't have what it takes, give them time to blend-in with each other, besides the numbers they are showing is impressive, if they can produce and go head to head with the Defending champs, meaning its only a matter of time, most players will try to adjust because they have a superstar, and their coach knows it, we know how he makes the team better, like last year, they just don't enough star since their no.1 gunner is not performing well, with Durant in the team for sure they will have a longer run.
