I tried using the bitsendj wallet-tools recovery guide but the chain wouldn't sync past a certain point. therefore i couldn't empty the wallet.

Exit scam from what exactly? I don't understand what you mean cause as far as i remember there wasn't a bsd ico... It was just a free airdrop.... Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yeah, two years they shared a lot of free coins, and they going to exit now when it's low price.

Bitsend price will nearly unable to fall deeper after months of gradual drops, so I don't think it is worthy to spread FUDs on Bitsend at the moment. You were right that if the BSD team had intention to make scam exit, they would have made it in 2017 or even early months of 2018 at all time high or at all time high price range of Bitsend. Current price range is very low, so it does not make sense to do scam exit. It sounds very stupid way to do scam exit at bottom price. I don't think Bitsend team do it for two reasons: their good reputation and  the temporary low price of BSD

and pleaz if you can connect your brain for 5 minutes  :
the value of BSD is due to to many coin for to less buyers, so how the price canstay at this value if they try to sell too many coin (check the volume/day)

as 90% of coin with no airdrop the coin will continue to be developped with the community..or not  but its the game

You need to explain in detail what went wrong, I don't have first hand experience with BSD android wallet but it also works like the normal desktop wallet when it comes to wallet recovery and backup.

Using third party wallets at own risks. So, if it is real problem with Coinnomi (I am not sure), users of the wallet should not blame or complaint on Bitsend team supports. I don't think Bitsend team can help if it comes from Coinnomi issues. Furthermore, secure personal accounts is personal responsibility, Bitsend's.  Maybe it is a lesson, but Coinomi is a good wallet provider with convenience from thief multi coin wallets.
