...they do not hurry too much because now is not the right time for small altcoin projects...waiting for next bull run...
I don't think so.
There are no bad and good times for crypto projects because of the bull or bear market and for sure market conditions should not be the reason to stop or start development progress. I have witnessed such behavior many times and it always leads to the end of the project. Sorry to say, but decent projects have always their hands full of work and keep pushing forward all the time, not only in the bull market. Such excuse is nothing more as an... excuse exactly.
...with the loss of value... they have lost the ambition to maintain it regularly.
If this is indeed true what you have written, then this is very bad for Bitsend because it shows that there are no strong fundaments, no belief, and no dedicated team (developers) behind it.
I was always sure that Bitsend stands strong when it comes to team and dedication. I hope this is not the case because it will prove this project to be a clear cash grab if this is true.
I think nobody is blind and we all see that Bitsend was just left alone when devs started a new project. Of course, they ensured us that this is no problem and Bitsend will be still developed as before, but we are now a few years later and can see clearly that Bitsend was at least left alone if not abandoned. In my opinion, this shows the team in a very bad light and people who are invested in any of their projects should rethink this twice because one day it can happen to them too.
The only way to recover community trust would be of course big development progress and very visible team involvement, as it was at the beginning of Bitsend. Marketing (maybe another airdrop), new bounty campaign, new wallet released for not tech-savvy users, new roadmap, AMA to ask questions, and so on. This will show that there is real support from the team and they have real plans for Bitsend and not only dev show here occasionally to buy some more time. Without dedicated people, belief, plan, and hard work I truly doubt we will see Bitsend rise again.
