Frankly, I think it would make more sense and add value to the initial investors as well as ICONOMI team if they stopped the ICO because the threshold was reached and exceeded. This would create bigger anticipation for the project, stabilise token trading value, draw in more investors later on and project a professional image to counter the negative sentiment people had in the Wave ICO after it was over funded.

Being clear with what people are working on the project, and using escrow for all the funds, helps incredibly in convincing investors to come on board with their money.
