Not right now. I have two other projects on the bench I have to figure out first.
I can probably get an electronics shop around here to look at it, if the crystal is bad or cold solder it should be pretty easy to fix
thank you..I've been trying to figure out how to have the local Electronic Engineering Univ club look at it w/o looking like an 'electronic stalker'
pssst...hey baby want to look and heat up the cold solder on my knc asic titan bridge...I come across as a 'cheap' nerd and really don't have an angle
on what would be a fair price to offer to fix this ...pizza and beer to the EE club probably would not do it.....and I'd probably have to float it by
the faculty......doubtful....others around here don't have the skills ..that is one damn small chip etc
Again would like to find the larger grandfather of those chips before shrunk down to that size..and just do a rough protoboard with leads for 30-40 bucks
plus these larger cousins......but again the skill level and time ....just don't see it
let us know how it goes....I'll see if I can find someone to at least feel out on this at the local university (more weird looks in my life...great)
