Ethereum or Litecoin would probably take the place of bitcoin. If bitcoin were to die tomorrow, it would probably drag down the altcoins with it as well, but if you give altcoins some time until they can establish themselves, they wouldn't be harmed in my opinion. An altcoin may eventually take the place of btc as the best crypto as well, especially considering the scalability issues that btc might face in the near future.

We're just getting started. There is so much room to grow as it continues to gain popularity. I don't believe it could die at this point. If it did Alt coins would definitely takes its place as the main coin.

It is true, everybody is CRAZY about getting bitcoins, doesnt matter what is the real price, they all are paying insane fees but they all want to be in here, it is pure FOMO.


But bitcoin is going to change the economic system, and no one has doubts about it.

Yes i agree and no one should lose interest on it .Bitcoin today is really interesting it can really make people  financialy free which is really the great factor why bitcoin is now getting more popular than yesterday.I bekieve bitcoin will continue rising in the near future and that was really more interesting .it can really help more people.

It has some correlation but not that direct. As long as people still can earn some profit from it, they will keep playing.
If bitcoin might not be useable again, there should be other coin with a lot better feature and potential to replace it. Even perhaps there will be another new technology that will replace blockchain.

why would bitcoin die?
depending on the reason the answer to your question can be either yes, altcoins will also die or it can be no, they will continue.

you see, most of the altcoins share a lot of things with bitcoin. some of them are exactly the same as bitcoin with so little differences. that is why is say it depends on the reason. for example if it is because of fees, most altcoins will follow it to the grave yard. coins like ETH, LTC, ... will die because they suffer the same issues despite you not seeing them now.

For sure before bitcoin dies, altcoins will suffer deeply but still hope that this thing will not happen because this is a great technology after all, and this is just the beginning of a great technology for the future. Bitcoin will surely survive no matter what, believe it or not.

Bitcoin can't die immediately or it can't suicide. In what circumstance do you think that bitcoin will die? People will still be interested to bitcoin, you know why? Simply because it is bitcoin, before that it doesn't have value there are people who put interest to it and now that it's value is increasing it's getting more interest.

I don't think so. Since we are already having the cryptocurrency, then maybe even if bitcoin will be gone, people's interest in bitcoin will not lose. We are not just depending on bitcoin alone, but we cannot also deny that we are really trusting bitcoin more than the other cryptocurrency because it is the first type of cryptocurrency existed.
