I dont think so. No one would lose interest on bitcoin unless the value of it drops to the value equal to mickey mouse money. Why would you lose your interest on bitcoin if the exchange value is very high? Why would lose interest if btc is safe, private, and free from hassle? Its like you are given a big amount of money that is legal for what you have done, and you dont accept it. Bitcoin would catch the attention of people more than now in the near future.

No, I wouldn't say people are losing interest a lot. The thing is, the more bitcoin will fall - the more people will buy it in hopes for its growth and that's why they won't let it fall.

In my part, I already encounter the ups and down of cryptocurrency's, but i never put in my mind to stop. Because one's you stop.. this means you are a looser. Life must go on. and i always aim on wards. being optimistic. I do believe bitcoin will address all my financial problems someday..

Price is most important marker for most of the people now. Many newcomers even not trying to understand the technology behind different projects. We can see it in the hype metrics(cryptocompare has it in the social filters). When the price goes up people talks more, when it goes up it talks less. We will see "2013 crisis 2.0" for sure and people will scream that somebody stole their money. And most people will dump their tokens cheap.

People who know nothing about cryptocurrency but they know Bitcoin. Bitcoin bring the others digital coin together, help people know many different kind of digital coin. When we mention about cryptocrrency, they will mention about Bitcoin first. Even this forum also has the name "Bitcoin". It's very hard for people to lose interest in Bitcoin.

Good question , there is a chance to lose interest to trade bitcoin. Because people think bitcoin is going to flop . But i think bitcoin will recover soon.

Obviously people will really lose interest because they cannot invest or sites are being banned like this forum where we can get in touch on cryptocurrency news. Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency. Not only common investors but billionaires, politicians and even financial institutions invested in bitcoin currency. Many speculators have investments in bitcoin currency; they are always keeping it volatile. But ban by bitcoin leading countries have shaken the bitcoin community. People are diverting their funds; as a result bitcoin price is falling sharply. If this situation continuous people may lose interest from bitcoin currency. If any new, much advanced crypto currency comes in the market then it will be a big competitor for bitcoin.

I don't know would other crytocurrency replace bitcoin in this case. Most of them are linked to bitcoins price so probably they wil die as well but maybe people will create something new Huh

Funny. The higher BTC price goes the more people panic. I know, you have more to lose now, but still. Check past trends and stop running around like scared old ladies. It fluctuates. The same as euro or the dollar.

If bitcoin dies(though it seems a distant possibility,because of the interest and increased awareness people are getting about it) other altcoins may suffer.But as already said the pioneer is still alive and kicking.The price may be stable as of now but bitcoin is here to stay.

Not everyone is going to lose interest at all, most people are very confident that it is going to rise again and i am one of those who believe that it is going to do exactly just that. The newbies investors are those who have already lost hope and moved unto other things.

Bitcoin was the main attraction for this market. Everyone wanted to invest in Bitcoin, but as the market received more and more popularity, other crypto appeared that makes more sense for the ones who wants to make more money and faster, to invest in. As long as new projects are on the table, than no one will lose interest.
