You have to prove that you hold at least 1000DRK to run the masternode.  People who say "Sorry I do not understand masternode" probably shouldn't run one until they make the effort to "do understand masternode." Tehre is no substitute for knowing what you're doing when there is approx $10,000 at stake...

DRK is Proof of Service, not Proof of Stake.

I agree. This is small potatoes and should be delegated. It's an annoying nag on the dev people to have to deal with it.

You never get interest/fees. There is no staking.

You can have a chance to randomly earn 20% of a mined block if you run a masternode, which provides service to the network. You need a minimum of 1000DRK to run a masternode. It gets more complicated from there and I encourage you to google it if you're serious. Resources on the topic are abundant. Chaeplin and TanteStefana have created some good docs on it. I will stop short of LMGTFY.com.

Just the facts... At his level of knowledge/understanding it would be dangerous for him to run a masternode. I just want him to not get boned. Tellin' it like it is. He seems man enough not to 'be offended' by an honest assessment of his abilities, a deficiency which he openly shared. He should either rectify that deficiency, or not do it.
