I would say today was the biggest upset in this world cup T20. The South African team was sure to win this easy match with the Netherlands and move in semi finals but not to be. This is so disappointing for them and also for their nation. South Africa always had bad luck in ICC tornaments and today is their another bad day.



Pakistan and India cannot meet in the semi finals, as they are in the same group. I think any team, Pakistan and Bangladesh who ever won the match will have their semi final match with New Zealand as they are at the top of group 2.

Bad luck? They once again prove their choking tag. They have everything in their playing XI one of the best pace bowlers. Best openers and best finishers and yet they couldn't chase a meagre total of 158 against Netherlands? But honestly this world cup is turning out to be the most interesting one so far in terms of upset we have seen a lot of them till now. This defeat has made match between Pakistan and Bangladesh wife open for qualification. No doubt South Africa suffered a bit of badluck after that Zimbabwe match going to No Result due to Rain but that's how things are.

Upset from Netherland, give Pakistan team a life line and they have again one chance to move ahead in the semi final. After their initial matches played by Pakistan, they had no hope to reach in semi final but we get one final chance. A win and we are through to the semi's without considering anything related to run rate etc.

Same is the opportunity with the Bangladesh team and they will also fancy their chances. A lot depends on how Pakistan's batting performs today and how they approach for the chase whatever total Bangladesh put on.

Although Bangladesh is weak on paper but we never know when it comes to a quarter final match.

Thank you for correcting the mistake. New Zealand vs TBC, 1st Semi-Final match will be held Nov 09 while TBC vs England, 2nd Semi-Final will be held Nov 10. If i am not wrong then we will be able to watch TBC vs TBC, Final match.

Exactly what I just came to post. Now what does Pakistani fan wants to say? Clearly bat is not hitting the ground and we see the spike which means it's surely ball hitting the bat and yet 3rd umpire gave this out. Do you guys now think PCB managed to take a loan from world bank and give it to ICC?
 
My point is these things do happen in close calls if this can happen with 3rd umpire, the ground umpire getting doubts in No ball is very normal but at the end what matters is decision of the umpire. Just ranting about ICC and BCCI just makes you look stupid.

I honestly pity Pakistan fans🤣 India chased 28 in 8 balls and they have audacity to say only the no ball made the difference. All I said was no ball was doubtful because some said it was and some said it wasn't but what matters is what Umpire feels. Anyways whatever helps Pakis sleep at Night

It is a pity for Bangladesh that they did not play very well today. It will never be possible for Pakistan team to win by scoring so few runs. Shahensha Afridi of Pakistan team is very good to say. In today's match he took four wickets bowling four overs. But it was very important for Bangladesh to win today's match but unfortunately they may not win this match. If there were 150 plus runs in today's match, Bangladesh would have won. If Bangladesh doesn't win today's match, they will lose a lot and they won't be able to play the semi-finals.

Wrong decisions coming from the third umpire is really annoying. The team that played at the start wasn't able to perform when there is fall of wickets. The wicket of Shakib Al Hasan disturbed the entire scoring of Bangladesh. Somehow they managed to score 127 runs, which isn't enough against team like Pakistan.

Followed by the innings, Bangladesh began the bowling with Taskin. The fielding and drops came from the beginning have kept the Pakistan openers strong. Anyhow this is going to be a win for Pakistan. Pakistan at the end of 3 overs have scored 15 runs.

I agree with you. Because if India and Pakistan can qualify for the next round then the tournament will become more interesting. They will get a lot of viewers. And so ICC is trying to give India and Pakistan a bit more advantage. ICC is more interested in making money. I think they will try their best to take India to the final. However, by doing so, the smaller teams will gradually lose interest in cricket. As of now many new teams are getting interested in cricket. So ICC should conduct the matches fairly.

The luck of the Bangladesh team is always bad. There is no chance to say that Bangladesh played badly in this World Cup. Bangladesh also fought hard to win against India. And Bangladesh might have won if the umpires had not taken bad decisions. The ICC wanted to give India a chance, and so Bangladesh lost. Bangladesh is also unlucky in today's match. If the field umpires cannot decide, there are TV umpires. However, in a platform like the World Cup, it is very difficult to accept such wrong decisions by umpires again and again. I do not see any possibility of the victory for Bangladesh. But they played well. Their performances against India and Pakistan must be commended.
