England beat India in the final. In the current T20 World Cup, the possibility of India Pakistan final was already created. Yesterday, Babar Azam's team defeated New Zealand and stepped into the title deciding match. But today India could not walk on that path. Rohit Sharma's team didn't care about England's two openers. As a result, the English champions of 2010 reached the final after blowing away India with 24 balls and 10 wickets in hand. Congratulations to England as they beat India today to qualify for the final.
KL Rahul did not play well. Rohit Sharma scored 27 runs off 28 balls. I think it is suicidal to bat at a strike rate below 100 against a team like England. Had Hardik Pandya not scored 63 off 33 balls, India's innings would have ended within 140. England were in control of the match due to poor top-order batting. And since England's players were more confident. And so England's two openers batted brilliantly. And won without losing a wicket. If England's players can do such a performance in the final, they will win the title.
It's not all about KL Rahul or Rohit Sharma batting it's all about pressure which was having Indian team on their shoulders before start of this match, and they were not fully able to play against average bowling attack of England here I have to argue few things after Dhoni they are badly down and not able to settle things which give them good benefit which is coming through practice in IPL, and they are having issues in big matches which need to settle and this will be fixed by BCCI not any other many players now need to be out of this squad and many new youngsters are able to have replaced even in case of Kohli which is not needed in this format for International matches.
168 was never been ideal score on this pitch specially now after end of the match I have feeling if India give target around 200 or 205 this could be also achievable because bowlers were badly out of the touch and Bumrah's absent is also hurting them badly in this event and specially in this match.
