CSK has performed reliably in this match so far. They would certainly like to close this match out with a comfortable win from now on. The target was not very big. The problem is GT has not been able to keep wickets in hand. They have lost wickets at regular intervals. And to be honest they technically only have one wicket left.
Gujarat hasn't lost the match for continuously losing their wickets only. The top-order batsman played slowly, their strike rate wasn't enough to chase the target. Rashid Khan and Vijay Shankar (impact player) were the last hope for GT, but there was no hope for GT when their partnership was broken. Gujarat Titans had started this IPL season by winning against CSK, then they played like a king in the group stage matches. But they couldn't confirm the entry for the final yet by losing the first playoff against CSK.
There is no doubt target was chase able but sadly GT batsmen were overconfident, and they lost wickets regularly which hurt them for achieving this at the end they lost this match by 15 runs Just Shubman Gill have better performance but here we must appreciate CSK bowling as well because they never allow GT batsmen to play freely or hit aggressively which also creates pressure on them Jadeja and Theekshana both were on target and keep things under control.
Rashid Khan tries again but sadly not able to hit the ball around the ground as he has done previously now they need to be calm and have better strategy for the next qualifier if they want to play the final second time in a row which is still possible.
