I would say it was a memorable match. The total collection of both teams in this match was 458 runs. And if Punjab Kings had not batted badly in the last two overs, their collection would have been bigger. In the last two overs, Punjab's batsmen managed to muster only 8 runs. No one expected Punjab to win this match. However, they had a chance to reduce the run margin further.
Punjab captain Shikhar Dhawan used his 7 bowlers in this match. But the more interesting thing is that LSG captain KL Rahul used all his 9 bowlers in this match. Except for Stoinis and Rahul, probably every player in the squad bowled in this match. We don't know why KL Rahul took such a decision.

The openers failed to score, but the middle order contributed well. Maybe if Dhawan along with the young opener Prabhsimran have scored good the match could've gone closer. At the end Sharukh khan failed to perform, everything is the pressure of high run requirement. Raza used to perform better in these kind of matches and today he played good, but more needed at that moment. The right time he started to takeoff and lost the wicket.

Closer? You have got to be kidding. Did you look at the target? It's the second highest IPL score so far which is why Punjab were out of the game before their innings even started frankly speaking.

They did reach a respectable total, but they would have required a miracle to get close to the target. LSG rose to the 2nd position in the table with that win.

GT rose to the top after crushing KKR by 7 wickets. Shankar played extremely well and this team and season have proven to be a game-changer for him though I still feel that he is an average batsman overall.

SRH posted a good total, but it looks like DC might come close and lose. Let's see who wins the battle between the bottom teams.

It's good to see some changes in the Man of the Match award.

Before it was all about the winning team but this season they are handing out awards to the best performances of the match, results hardly matter and rightly so. I'd like to see this rule internationally too.

DC tried there best today despite the fact that there skipper Warner was out for zero. Marsh and Salt both have partnership of 112 runs. Once the second wicket partnership was broken, wickets kept falling in regularly interval of time. No impact of today's loss on DC as they were firmly occupying the last slot of the points table. SRH are at number 8 position and they along with MI also have very rear chance of making it to next round. 

Delhi Capitals is predicted to win based on its opening performance, the continuous wickets of Salt and Marsh is the reason for the loss of the match. In every match Warner used to contribute and today he lost his wicket earlier. Delhi Capitals looked to be getting better as they won the last two matches. Once again missed the winning opportunity by a margin. In most matches Nortje used to perform well, today his bowling too isn't good.

Delhi Capitals are the worst performing team in this IPL. So far they have not been able to recover from their poor performance. Their team management coaching staff are very experienced and legend persons and all the players that Delhi Capitals have got in their team are all world class players but it is a wonder why they are not performing well with such good quality coaching staff and world class players. Two wins to the name of Delhi Capitals is never expected. Delhi have never seen such a failure in any other IPL season. We expected Delhi capitals to win against SRH. But in the end, Delhi Capitals fought back and lost to SRH by just 9 runs. 

Mitchell Marsh had an excellent all-round performance for Delhi Capitals against SRH, picking up four valuable wickets and batting for a crucial innings of 63 runs for the team, but he failed to lead his side to victory. Delhi Capitals will be expected to do well in the next match.
