India vs Sri Lanka
The first match of the T20 series between India vs Sri Lanka has started. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl. Shubman Gill scored 34 runs from just 16 balls, Suryakumar Yadav scored 58 runs from 26 balls and Rishab Pant scored 49 runs from 33 balls. Even if India lost 7 wickets, still I would say Sri Lankan bowlers bowled very badly in this match. However, Matheesha Pathirana managed to pick up 4 wickets despite giving away 40 runs in 4 overs.

Sri Lanka's two openers can bat well, but none of the other batsmen in the squad can do well. Sri Lanka collected 84 runs from the opening pair. And Sri Lanka lost the second wicket by collecting 140 runs. But the Sri Lankan players batted very badly in the last 5 overs. I would say the Indian bowlers bowling was very controlled in the death overs. Otherwise, the Indian team would not have been able to win by a big margin of 43 runs.
