I am still in shock how indian team won this last match of the series despite losing so much wickets in early overs and then scored a very low target too compared to thier previous matches but still get the game To be honest I am impressed and I think that the mentality and intend fans want from team India especially after getting the legendary batter gambir as a coach and SKY as new captain. Anyway Indian team is become like a horrible dream for sirilankan team where they face them because every time they got brutally punished and out of no where get the dominance. Anyway Indian team scored 137 while sirilankan were looking very confident to won the match but their sudden collapse push them to super over and at the end lost the match for me the main guys to deserve credit will be indian bowling lineup

I have not seen this match live. But I was very bored watching the highlights of the match. Indian batsmen have batted very well in the last two matches. But the batting of the Indian batsmen in this match was very bad. They were very lucky to draw the match, and were able to win the match in super overs.

None of the batsmen in the Indian squad can bat well. Shubman Gill scored 39 runs. But he batted at only 105 strike rate. With the help of Washington Sundar and RIyan Parag, 25 and 26 runs respectively, India managed to set a small target of 138 runs.

Sri Lanka's three top order batsmen batted very responsibly. I didn't think Sri Lanka would lose this match. Sri Lanka lost their second wicket by 110 runs. Even then the team failed to win the match.

I would say India won this match because of the controlled bowling by their bowlers. Otherwise the Indian team would not have been able to win this match by giving a target of only 138 runs. Despite having a lot of talented players in the Indian squad, the performance of the players in this match was poor. Jaiswal, Samson, RInku and Suryakumar were not able to bat well. If India could have scored around 150 then they could have easily won this match. However, in the end India won the Super Over.

The total collection of three batsmen of Sri Lanka's top order was 114 runs. Apart from Mendis, Perera and Nissanka, rest of the batsmen in the squad batted like fools. Sri Lanka needed only 9 runs to win in the last 2 overs. They cannot collect it. Even the Sri Lankan team lost four wickets in the last 2 overs.

The third T20I match between India and Srilanka was very exciting.
First India took the first turn and they made only 137 runs. And you are right that the bowling of Srilanka team was very admirable in this match. Because which name you have been mentioned Theekshana he collected two crucial wickets. First he collected the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal and then Rinku Singh and in total he collected 3 wickets. The target wasn't high but the luck of the Srilankan team was low.
And that is right too they played little well as compare to last matches and they tied the match. And every match will entered in the super over phase it makes more excitement. But unfortunately Srilanka lost the match in super over. Congratulations to India.

Although India won the T20 series but Sri Lanka was favored to win the third T20 match, but they could not capitalize on this opportunity, they played very poorly. Chasing the target of 137 runs, they turned the match into a draw where victory was too easy, they made it difficult under pressure which led to India's Super Over victory. The Sri Lankan team had a very good batting performance at the beginning of the game, but after the opening batsmen got out, they did not bat well. After 102 runs, two wickets fell, only a few runs were needed to win, but the Sri Lankan team batted very poorly there, due to which the victory could not be achieved. The match was drawn and in the last minute India won the Super Over and Sri Lanka lost the series result 3/0 India won the series and Sri Lanka was whitewashed.

I was very surprised Sri Lanka lost the third T20 match in Super Over. Sri Lanka won the match quite easily at one stage. They needed 28 runs from 28 balls and 9 wickets in hand, but they lost the match at this stage. The Sri Lank middle order played very poor cricket. They just need to run a ball to win the match. in last over Sri lanka needed 6 runs from 6 balls but they didn't chase 6 runs in last over and tied the match. The Player of the Match is Washington Sundar who played all rounder inning first. They added 25 important runs in the team total and in the bowling he picked 2 crucial wickets by just giving only 23 runs in his bowling spell. in the Super Over Washington Sundar picked 2 wickets and restricted Sri Lanka to just 2 runs and India easy won the match.

I wonder how SL gonna pick themselves up for ODI series from such humiliating defeat, India will have their top guys returning there too, plus the way SL played T20 series, I doubt they will able to complete 50 overs lol, expecting another whitewash.

Man, I miss times when SL was one of top sides.

After having end of the Indian inning, I was sure like they were playing for the losing cause because things were not favourable for them from the start of the inning and Sri Lankan top order were also doing same job as they have done in two early games, but suddenly we have Washington Sunder who turn the tables for the India and bring his team on winning track here we need to say thanks Sri Lankan third collapse as well which was one of the worst I have watch in last few years specially while team is playing at home against part-timer bowlers.

Even when in last over I watch SKY is coming for the bowling my feeling was we will have end of this game in first 3 balls, but suddenly we have 2 wickets and just 5 runs which bring this game on super over and then India whitewashed Sri Lankan team and their game now this result and match will be remembered for long time.

The last match of the T20 series between India and Sri Lanka ended in a super over. India also won the Super Over against Sri Lanka to clinch the series 3-0. We saw a new form of Indian team in this match as Rinku Singh Surya Kumar Yadav also bowled in this match and they were successful in their bowling. I may not have seen these batsmen bowling in any match before but I saw them for the first time after Gautam Gambhir became the coach of the Indian team. Both Rinku Singh and Surya Kumar Yadav bowled the entire game with one over each. Rinku Singh took two wickets with three runs in one over and Surya Kumar Yadav also took two wickets with five runs in one over. These two batting all-rounders put up a brilliant performance in their last match of the T20 series.

A three-match ODI series will be held between these two teams from August 2, but all the matches of this series will be held at the Colombo Stadium in Sri Lanka.
