It won't give any extra benefits if we place bets now and wait for three years to know the result. Those winning chance are calculated based on some related facts. The only benefit is, you will have higher odds if you place the bet earlier than other bettor. There are many market available which will be resolved shortly or after few months. I place bets on football markets to get the result shortly. If you really wish to make bets on those market then wait for two years and place your bets when the market reach near to the final result date.

Unusual but still has high probability for that to be the result. Bitcoin is still bullish for a long period of time, however we should always look out and expect that anytime bear market might come. For the next month, I guess bitcoin will still be intact on its current value, and I strongly believe will reach higher all time highs in the upcoming weeks, very soon.

Bettors will always bet either to win money or have fun proving their own theories.  Those who wanted to win money will of course bet in a way they will win reall money such as using Bitcoin while those who wanted to have fun proving their own theory or point of view is correct won't mind betting in play money since all it matters is they had made their stance  .

True, the Bear market never ceases, it just either dormant or become dominant, but for now, I don't see any reason for the Bitcoin bear market to be dominant since there is no bad news or anything that may turn the tide of the market.  I also believe that during this year, a series of new ATH will be recorded (following the 2017 Bitcoin blast).

Anyway, I haven't tried betting with as low as 0.001mBTC so I am also not sure if there is a minimum bet in terms of Bitcoin betting. What I noticed, though, was that there is a certain maximum and minimum bet depending on the certain question and its corresponding percentages of the available options. This is as far as Ooms betting is concerned. I am not sure if there is a different set of rules involving Bitcoin betting.

I've just placed several bets using Ooms a short while ago and I was surprised that I was not allowed to bet 100 Ooms in "Will the US distribute at least 100 million Covid-19 vaccine doses by the end of Biden's first 100 days in office?" I used to make 100 Ooms as my minimum bet. I was betting on the No with only 8% of the turnout. So there must be a minimum and maximum bet which is probably relative to the question and the percentage.

You can still profit if the odds look favourable. If you put a bet on now, and then subsequent bets by other people swing the odds in your favour, then you can cash out to profit early, well before 2024 comes around.
It's interesting in that you're not betting just on the outcome itself, but you can also win by predicting how the odds will change over time. It gives two different opportunities to win... Not that you'd know from my consistent losses on the football

But it does make sense, with the odds at only 5%. If the 'real' chance is actually say 8%, and you make bets on 20 of these 5% markets and the 'real' chance is 8% on all of them, then it's likely that you'll come away with a profit.
There's perhaps another angle here, too, if you can find a sports event that is a few weeks or months away, then it's likely people will bet based on each team's current form... so you'd be able to exploit any changes in form between now and the event taking place, by profiting as the odds change.
