Let's hope that futuur will read this and rectify this kind of situation. If a player wearing their sig is not satisfied, how much more of these players who are just waiting their winnings. Maybe it's just because I follow politics quite closely and have some academic background in Political Science, but I disagree. In sports, you can never be sure how the match will turn out, and if you follow the odds and keeping betting on the lowest ones, you'd still lose about 50% of the time in my experience. In politics, however, some events are highly predictable. For instance, in many countries the sociological polls on the Presidential elections results accurately predict the winner in advance, so such bets feel safer to me than bets on matches. Then again, when I say "in advance", I don't mean years in advance, of course. I'm talking about a few months before the elections.

It depends on the specific event though, surely? For example I placed a bet on the below - only a small bet as it's play money anyway, but it seems to me an absolute nailed-on certainty that the Dems would start a second impeachment process. Even if there's little chance of them winning, it absolutely gives them the moral high ground, and leaves Republicans in the difficult situation of either betraying their leader or else appearing to condone the invasion of the Capitol. It's win-win for the Dems, regardless of outcome.

There are lots of undiscovered area in our world, and scientists is yet to found them so I am highly hesitant that human will find evidence of life out of the earth before 2025, aside from that the outside earth exploration technology is not yet that capable  of thoroughly surveying the outer space.  All our scientist have are assumption, theory and made-up calculations.
