The easiest way to prevent gambling addiction is to see gambling as what it is: a hobby. I already talked about may how I achieve this in other threads so I am going to put this short:
- Set yourself a monthly limit, eg. 50$ and deposit the coins on your favourite casino
- As soon as your balance hits 0 again stop playing for the Rest of the month, don't even think about depositing any additional money
It is simple but very effective

It is a good approach for responsible gambling. I contribute another tip.
From $50 of your monthly allocation for gambling, if you win up to $200, withdraw your $150 and use the $50 for the rest day of that month or next month. It is not hard to win but it is harder to keep the money you won. You will more easily to lose your won money than your deposit.
If after $150 withdrawal, you lose all $50, let's stop gambling in that month.
That 50 bucks a month is a thing I started doing years ago, you can check my messages from before and you will see that I even talked about it. The real problem with your logic is that, what is the limit for it? Like I start with 50 bucks, and reach 100 bucks, do I withdraw that extra 50? Or do I wait until 200? Or 500? Where do I stop? I personally do it once a month, every first of the month, if I have less than 50 bucks, I deposit enough to make it 50 bucks again, and if I have more than 50 bucks (if it is not like just 5-10) then I withdraw the excess.
That way I get to gamble with whatever I have, never had more than 1200$ all at once win, but that is good enough for me to gamble for a very long time, I deposited to another wallet, started literally just a wallet for it, and spent that, it is over now because this was years ago but I am quite happy with that method.
