It's the finals today on PGL Wallachia. With the shitty odds on Yandex, i'll be relying on NaVi to grab at least a map and force the over 3.5 maps. Last time, Yandex dogwalked NaVi, and today i'm down to fade the Yandex sweep unless NaVi hasn't learned anything from their last loss.



I hope it never gets to that point, since TL has been one of the few teams I like to support.

So far, things are looking clean for both teams after the first round, and I think they're going 3-0 if they don't meet each other or Spirit in the qualification round.

One of my bets will be on G2 today and see if they've woken up after losing badly against NaVi in the first round. These types of mismatches are where they always shine, so I like their chances of ending this in two maps.

Welp, G2 looks terrible, and my handicap bet got smoked after the first map.

At least the matches are more interesting today, and i've grabbed the over 2.5 maps for the Mouz/Spirit series. Spirit has been dropping maps, but still refuses to lose a series so i'm hoping we get a full series.



They dropped a map against NaVi, but quickly closed it out in the decider map and will face Falcons later today for the top two seed. If they get past Falcons here, then we're on pace to see them in the finals.

That was a banger series, both star players were going at it on the AWP matchup, but the win still ended up going to Vitality.

In the other series, Mouz breezed through Spirit 2-0 as Donk took too long to wake up in the series and when he did, Mouz was already looking to close out the series.

I hope Falcons get seeded on the opposite side of Vitality so we can potentially get a rematch in the grand finals.

It might not yet come soon because they're really a big esports organization but, I agree that it sure is a sh!tshow if that comes. There are rumors that malrine is going to be part of the team soon. Not yet announced and let's wait if that happens for the next tournament that's about to happen which is the Dream League, no announced of direct invites yet.

Team Spirit was already showing cracks in the other series, so that loss against Mouz was a reality check. They needed a fifth round before securing their playoff spot, but at least that gives us a Falcons/Spirit match in the quarterfinal.

Vitality is still doing Vitality things, and good thing all of the better teams are on the other side of the bracket so that could give us a more interesting final.

On paper, I think Mouz will be the other finalist, but we'll see if Falcons is back to their scary form.

I'm surprised they got swept by Spirit after keeping it close against Vitality the other day. Then on the other side, Spirit finally woke up after those rough few series in the swiss stage.

Vitality will surely beat Aurora later, while on the other semifinal match, I think it'll be a toss up after watching Spirit lock back into their top form.

The final ended with Vitality sweeping Mouz 3-0, but when you've watched each map, it was closer than the scoreline suggests. Mouz were great at winning early rounds, while Vitality is a tough nut to crack, easily bouncing back at 1-5 round deficits like they're not down bad. 

I feel bad for Mouz because they almost had Dust 2 in the bag, then one round loss after another, the map win was slipping out of their hands until it got to OT and then the momentum swing carried on for Vitality to close it out 3-0.

Yup, no surprises here. No one's taking down Vitality when they're on serious mode. This gap will only get close once we're in the PGL major, but for now it's impossible to see anyone beating this team.

You're right about those two tournaments. No Vitality in the Thunderpick tournament, so FURIA, Aurora and Falcons are in a three-way battle for the trophy. In the PGL Bucharest, Vitality is without their IGL apex and jL will be taking over again, and we already saw a weakened Vitality back at Blast Open.
