Remember when Rain was announcing his retirement last year?
Instead of that joined 100 Thieves and under his leadership they have beaten Ninjas in Pyjamas at Roman Imperium Cup V increasing the squad's rank on the VRS to within the top 40 since then.
Looking at the VRS leaderboard, they're not that far off from BC team and maybe it's only a matter of having one good run before they start overtaking them and reach top 30.
There was a video was watching earlier about CS news and they had reported that 100T spent $400k on obtaining Rain and they are higher on this leaderboard than BC.game who paid $2.5m for S1mple.
That just goes to show you that it just doesn't take paying all this money for a supposedly great player in making a great top team.
I really had high hopes for PariVision , especially after they faced Vitality in grand finals but somehow this team is not yet 100% prepared for Tier 1 CS and we saw it yesterday in EESL when Heroic managed to defeat them 2-0 and eliminate them from this tournament.
Currently , I'm watching Navi Vs Monte and I must say Monte played the best cs2 in Phase 1 and I won't be surprised if they beat Navi today 2-0 or 2-1.
Navi ended up beating Monte by a 2-1 map result. They did look good against Parivision the other day.
So they kept this one with them a close one.
Aurora gaming are currently ahead of Legacy by a map but I wouldn't doubt they lose this second map being down 7-5. As Aurora's performance has been lacking every tournament they have played this year so far.
The matches I am looking forward to scheduled for later on today are:
G2 vs Faze
The Mongolz vs paiN
FURIA vs B8
