Chelsea have never been so convincing this season. Just when you think they are headed to the right direction, good plays and wins put together, the next you would see from them is an obvious disappointment. Just what was it with them today in the FA Cup. They got lucky with an early first half goal from a mistake, couldn’t even hold on to that for too long. They allowed Brighton to walk their way into getting a beautiful goal and square things up for the first half. Second half, it wasn’t any different, they let Brighton get a second and couldn’t reply. A player would be with the ball and you aren’t seeing anyone making the runs. It’s just not helping for the team!

Who are we going to hold responsible for this crash out of Chelsea in the FA Cup? Because to me I can't stop blaming Enzo Maresca, playing against Brighton is like playing against Man City because these guys are more hungry than we see them when it comes to competition like the FA CUP and you need not make any crazy mistakes because you can't go back to correct it, ones you're out you're out. Even in the conference Chelsea are preparing to make some errors that will knock them out, this is the period we need to see that seriousness in them, like the manager said that nobody told him to win any title, is just to build the team and those words have been working against him, Maresca is not serious with hia job.

Each coach has their own strengths and weaknesses, as well as Enzo Maresca. When we compare him with Pochettino, Enso may not be so good as today, but we don't forget if he is the one who started to awaken Chelsea from deep. we certainly don't forget how Chelsea shuffled around on the bottom of the league on the previous session. Enzo had an important role to increase chelsea performance like today. Maybe FA Cup is not the target, they only focus on how to stay on champions league zone. And I think, we don't forget, Chelsea still have conference league which they never lost on 6 match, and stay on top conference league Europe. It is an extraordinary achievement, and not something to be ashamed of.

Who else would be responsible for the defeat other than Enzo Maresca?
All decisions are in his hands before the team competes, from compiling the starting XI to making decisions about substituting players during the match.
After being eliminated from the FA Cup, Chelsea are threatened with not being able to win any titles this season, they are still struggling to compete with Liverpool in the EPL and in the Conference League their chances are very small.

Yeah, it's awful performance by Nkuku. What he did just jogging for the whole time. It must be Nkuku who left the club, not Felix.

Maresca once again did a mistake by keeping a liability to stay longer in the squad. Bruh, i have no clue why Maresca did this. They like played with 10 men when Nkuku was included in the squad.

It seems he doesn't wanna stay here much longer, or lack of minutes ruined his form.

Sometimes he makes it look as if the team is having some kind of problem that he on his own can not solve but he can, Enzo Maresca can transform Chelsea to be as strong as Manchester City with the kind of players he have but I can't get it why they perform like one division 1 team. Chelsea are suppose to be among those teams in the EPL that have qualified into the next round of the FA CUP but they can't pass through Brighton (they are like a nightmare for Chelsea) 5 which means even in the league they are still going to struggle to get at least a point.
I saw Chelsea as one of the favorite in winning the conference league with how the handle business and how they make teams they can beat look really small but since some of the conference league players on the Chelsea squad have left on loan I don't see that dominate force anymore, they'll try to get back that form they had in running in and out of opposition defense. These are the things Enzo Maresca is suppose to be taking note of but he base more on selling out his best to strengthen other teams than his own, too bad that he might finish outside the top 4 in the EPL this season.

I read his interview and he stated the reason why they let Felix leave on a loan is because his team needs defensive balance. Is he saying that players like Nkuku or Jackson offer more defensive solidity when they play? I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes but some decisions are questionable to say the least, even if those players prefer different positions.

They have so many matches this weekend so that's understandable. Not to mention if your second line-up has Elliot, Chiesa, Endo, etc there is little to no reason for them not to beat weaker side.

I thought they deserved to be blamed. The club and Maresca wasted winter window to sign amateur player instead of sign a proven striker.

They have been going for entertainment team to the awful team to watch in matter of weeks. They're regressing so hard.

I didn't watch their game, I had other things to do when the game started, I just watched the match highlights and statistics from google and I think Chelsea played very badly, Maresca really made a mistake in playing the line-up, Nkuku who was plotted as a target man did nothing on the field. That's what happens when there are too many player choices, the game pattern becomes erratic. Now with Chelsea out of the FA Cup, their only chance to get a trophy is in the conference cup competition and maybe they can get that target because the only tough opponent is Fiorentina.
